CLARA CHAN

Dr. Clara has served in senior management positions in the business world for many years and has accumulated a wealth of life experience. Due to her passion for traditional Chinese medicine, she obtained her professional TCM license over a decade ago and became a full time Chinese medical doctor. She holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and a Doctorate degree from the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. In the early years of her medical career, Dr. Clara worked at government clinics, providing services to the public and collaborating with the social welfare sector to research and promote the use of Chinese massage techniques to improve the health and quality of life of elderly and children.

Dr. Clara offers comprehensive traditional Chinese medical treatment, specializing in non-pharmaceutical therapies such as moxibustion, gua sha, acupuncture, cupping, and meridian therapy to treat various types of acute and chronic pain, as well as conditions related to energy interruption within the meridians such as facial paralysis, tinnitus, deafness, and various types of headaches. Having worked in management positions in the business world for many years, Dr. Clara has a thorough understanding of the stress and pressure faced by executives and is able to effectively alleviate issues such as insomnia, anxiety, and emotional disturbances caused by workplace stress. She believes in treating patient in an holistic approach and help the patient to restore their balance of body and mind.

Working women living and working in a fast pace city, often suffer from irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, infertility, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids, which not only have a negative impact on their physical well-being but also affect their emotions and quality of life. Dr. Clara has a strong passion in treating these gynecological conditions and reduce stress for her female clients. In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of her female patients seeking treatment for infertility or unsuccessful attempts with assisted reproductive technology (IVF, IUI). With a combination of acupuncture, moxibustion and herbal medication, Dr. Clara has achieved satisfactory results.

Dr. Clara also has knowledge in various energy-based therapies and has studied tuning fork therapy under a renowned master. In the sound healing treatment, she uses specific sound frequencies to stimulate acupuncture points and meridians, providing alternative and effective treatments for patients who have needle phobia. Dr. Clara always approach her patient holistically and believes that the deepest healing is coming from within. She see her job as activating the self-healing power of the patient, at the meantime, helping the client to achieve a better self-understanding on their conditions and healing possibilities through strong doctor-patient relationship and communication.
